Wait, Rosenheim Cops has queer vibes?! I only ever witnessed a few things peripherally when visiting my Oma, who watched the early episodes, but I don't want my German to rust entirely and now I'm thinking I need to watch it after all, because I definitely missed any and every hint of queerness back then. In my defense, I was like 8, and the character whose queerness everyone in this rather tiny, to be fair, fandom seems to be most in agreement on or find most obvious seems to be Hansen (spelling?), who was defs not there yet in the seasons Oma watched. (I think he was the Komissar after Lindt? (spelling?))

Also, I'm pretty sure the post in which you say that about the vibes is a bit older, so it's totally cool if you're not interested in answering this by now anymore, no pressure

Oh BOY, a Rosenheim-Cops ask! I will literally never stop answering asks about that show, so keep 'em coming!

First of all, your spelling on Hansen was correct, Lind is sadly not spelled like the chocolate, which I think is a crime. Second of all, I fully support you wanting to keep your German active. Languages my beloved! I think a majority of the series is freely accessible online on the ZDF Mediathek - I'm not sure if there's subtitles though. Probably has to have them though. I'm not 100% sure if the very first seasons are on there, but by the time of the Hansen era, the episodes are definitely there.

Hansen comes in at season 8, I think, which is already an old season by now because they've been constantly releasing new episodes. I think we're on season 20-something? Hansen is still there, too! I honestly prefer the older episodes though, nowadays, the B-storylines get a bit too silly and they've robbed Michi of all his IQ points, which isn't fair.

Anyways, season 8 has some great episodes, featuring actual good characterizations and some bi vibes! I'm kind of never really sure of what to think of the Hansen/Ortmann storyline, but I'll let you figure that out for yourself.

Either way, I'm so glad you're interested in this silly little show and I can't wait to hear what you think after a few episodes! ^^
